The three included fans don't sit behind the front panel. They're angled into the front-right corner, blowing across the motherboard and toward the rear exhaust, which is why the H6 Flow cools as well as it does with only three fans. The dual-chamber layout puts the power supply and drives behind the motherboard rather than under it, so the glass side shows components instead of a cable basement. At 16.34 by 11.3 by 17.13 inches it tucks under a desk, and it takes ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX boards.
What made it our top pick is how little you give up. Three 120mm fans come included, the perforated top and side panels feed them without a solid front getting in the way, and the wraparound glass shows the build off without choking it. Wide channels, hooks, and straps handle cabling, and the front and side panels are held by simple clips rather than thumbscrews.
The bottom fan mount is empty out of the box, and that's the one addition worth making, since a fan there feeds the graphics card directly. At 9.4 kg the case is heavier than its compact footprint suggests, so lift it with both hands once it's loaded. Otherwise it's hard to fault: we were in and out of this one repeatedly during testing and never once went looking for a screwdriver.
Pros
- Three angled 120mm fans included and well placed
- Dual-chamber layout hides the PSU and drives
- Tool-less side panels and wide cable channels
- Takes ATX, micro-ATX, and mini-ITX boards
Cons
- Bottom GPU intake fan not included
Our pick for most ATX builds: three well-placed fans, a dual-chamber shell, and glass that shows off the parts without blocking the air.
