The Grandia 11 is shaped like a receiver, not a computer. Its 6.93-inch height and 17.33-inch width let it sit on a TV stand shelf or in an AV rack without the glass-sided look of a gaming tower. We like that the mesh front keeps the face clean while still feeding air, and the four front USB 3.0 ports mean a controller, keyboard, and external drive can stay plugged in where you can reach them.
What earns it the top spot is the hardware it swallows at that size. The case supports a 240mm radiator and full-size graphics cards, so you do not have to build a weak media box just because you want a low-profile chassis. We appreciate that combination: a 240mm AIO gives you quiet cooling headroom for a CPU that actually does some work, whether that is transcoding or light gaming. The positive-pressure design and filters are the practical bonus, keeping dust off the parts you cannot easily reach.
The limit to plan around is the motherboard. SilverStone specifies Micro ATX support, not full ATX, so an existing ATX board will not drop in. That is the main reason to look at the Grandia GD09B instead. For a new Micro ATX build, though, the Grandia 11 is the more polished living-room case: the interior is easy to work in, the mesh front looks intentional, and the 240mm mount gives you room to grow.
Pros
- Receiver-shaped chassis fits AV shelves
- Supports 240mm radiator and full-size GPUs
- Four front USB 3.0 ports
- Filtered positive-pressure airflow
Cons
- Three internal drive bays limit storage
We recommend the Grandia 11 as the best default for a living-room HTPC: it fits a 240mm radiator and full-size GPU in a receiver-shaped Micro ATX chassis.
